Adult Group Piano Lessons in Cincinnati — Learn & Play with Confidence

CMA’s Group Piano Program makes learning piano approachable and social. Adults meet weekly in small, evening classes with their own keyboard station, guided by expert instructors in a fun, low-pressure setting. Build skills, stay motivated, and enjoy music as part of a community.

What is the Group Piano Program?

Cincinnati Music Academy’s Group Piano Program connects adults with structured, collaborative piano classes. Each student plays at their own full-size keyboard station — no sharing or waiting your turn. Classes meet once a week for one hour and run in quarterly sessions, making progress social, consistent, and stress-free. Whether you’re beginning for the first time or returning after years away, CMA’s group piano classes help you learn comfortably and confidently.

  • Weekly 60-minute classes with experienced instructors
  • Quarterly sessions offered year-round
  • Small class sizes (5–11 students) for focus and accountability
  • Each student has their own 88-key keyboard station — no sharing
  • Structured levels for beginners through advanced players

What to Expect in the Group Piano Program

Classes are designed to be interactive, enjoyable, and low-pressure. You’ll play at your own keyboard station, follow a step-by-step curriculum, and receive personal feedback from your instructor. Each session includes warm-ups, rhythm and theory work, and plenty of playing time. Students are grouped based on their experience level to ensure their comfort and progress. Many students continue advancing through CMA’s progressive curriculum.
