With a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy and a background in Psychology, Amy Rose Immerman offers a highly specialized, modern approach to adult music education. As a National Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) and the former co-founder of the Cincinnati Music Academy, Amy has been a trusted leader in the piano community since 1992.
Today, she directs a premier, all-adult piano studio designed exclusively for adult learners. Her philosophy blends high-level skill training with a vibrant, supportive community, giving students social performance opportunities throughout the year to connect and engage with fellow musicians.
To fit your unique goals, lifestyle, and learning style, Amy offers two distinct, high-quality programs:
- Private Instruction: Custom-tailored, one-on-one traditional and recreational lessons for deep individual progress and personalized repertoire.
- Group Keyboard Classes: Collaborative, engaging adult group classes that focus on recreational music-making, skill-building, and social learning.
Amy’s lifelong dedication to her craft ensures your lessons stay fresh, current, and inspiring. Beyond her studio, she is a nationally recognized presenter with over 100 conference presentations, a former Examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and has served on the MTNA Board of Directors.
Whether you are returning to the keys after decades away or sitting down to play for the very first time, Amy provides the expert guidance you need to thrive.
