The Cincinnati Music Academy Strings Department is the newest addition to CMA. The teachers that comprise the strings faculty offer lessons in violin, viola and “upright” string bass. Students range in age from nine years old to senior adults, and in experience from beginner to advanced.

Instruction is also available on violin for very young children — as young as age three — using the world-famous Suzuki method.
