Don Gauck

Don Gauck graduated from University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 1995. He confidently plays and teaches a wide array of styles including jazz, blues, rock, punk, bluegrass, folk, finger-style and funk.
Don has taught private lessons and college classes for guitar instruction since 1995. Professionally, he can be heard playing with many bands in the area and with two original projects – Bastion and the 4-Track All Stars.
Gauck’s teaching approach combines the best of hands-on experience as a working musician with proper schooling and technique. He incorporates a well-rounded approach to teaching that includes music theory, reading, ear training, transcribing and improvising, and encourages his students to apply these essential skills to learning and playing. Don believes that the most important objectives are to have fun learning to play and to gain a greater appreciation for music in general.
